Brawn Classical Musical Ensembles,

Thomas Brawn, Bmus, flutist & Impresario

As with fine food & wine, and a perfect location, live classical chamber music can help

to create a special ambience for your wedding,reception, dinner or other social occasion.  For  thirty years

in Ottawa,  with several ensembles made up of his fine, experienced musical collegues, Brawn Classical Music

Ensembles, lead by  flutist Thomas Brawn , has been creating and performing programs of fine

classical music which have perfectly reflected clients' musical stlyes and tastes for special events, thereby 

enhancing the style and class of those occasions.

Flutist Thomas Brawn began his musical life at age seven, learning first the piano and singing in church

choirs.  His study of the flute began in high school and lead him intoformal studies at The University of

Ottawa and a degree in music in 1982.  Thomas has performed as a member of  The Ottawa Youth Orchestra,

The University of Ottawa Orchestra and both The Nepean and Ottawa Symphony Orchestras.  Thomas has

appeared as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles at many of Ottawa's major museums, churches and

universities as well as on CBC radio and television.

In background music settings Thomas has lead ensembles performing for Governors General, Prime

Ministers, Speakers of The House of Commonsand Senate of Canada, as well as at many Embassies and High

Commisions.  Thomas has performed at literally hundreds of wedding services, receptions,

openings, ehibitions, official government functions,  funerals and other special events in the  Ottawa area for

thirty years.

Brawn Classical Music Ensembles differs from other musical agencies in the fact that my goal is to book

myself as a flutist and leader.  There are two distinct advantages to this approach:  The first is in price, as

there is no huge agent's fee.  The second is in the fact that I have a personal stake in the quality of

performance your recieve.  The  flutist on my demo is the flutist who will perform for you.  It is a moment

of pride and  joy for me every time I raise my flute to perform beautiful music in any setting.  With  my

three decades of experience and my large musical library I can help you plan the perfect classical music

background for your event.

Trios:

Flute with harpsichord or piano & cello or violin.

Quartet:

Flute, violin, piano or harpsichord & cello.

Vocalists:
